London Pale Ale, Meantime Brewery (and then the rest of their ales)

A smashing relaxed afternoon spent sat in the garden grounds just outside the Old Brewery in Greenwich, a weak stone's throw from the Thames. Started things off with the brewery's splendidly tasty London Pale Ale (4.5%), before moving onto the rest. All of them. Magnificent work from the Meantime Brewery, whose work I've admired from afar for years now. Just so consistently great in what they do, and here I was on their home turf, as close to being under the brewery's vat taps as I'll ever get.

The key to this entry isn't just the beer, and how great that was. It was a part of an experience that was so heralded down to the additional combination of location and company. It's these that elevate a few pints to another level, a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

Lovely glasses they have there as well.
